Golson Boat Launch Homicide Investigation

Officials with the U.S. Coast Guard, Michigan State Police, Bay County Sheriff’s Office, Bangor Township Fire Department, and Bay City Department of Public Safety Fire Operations Division all had watercraft in the Saginaw River searching for additional evidence using sonar equipment and by visually looking. Cadaver dogs were also brought in to assist with the search. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team searched areas of interest, but at this time, no other evidence has been located. The remains located included two arms and two lower legs including feet. These were located along the banks of the Saginaw River near the Golson Boat Launch. How the remains got into the Saginaw River is unknown at this time and is being investigated.
