BAD World Building

What separates fantasy and sci-fi from other genres? World building! Writers get to create not only characters and plot but also the premise and setting, which can be anything they can imagine. That can be great fun, but it’s easy to get carried away and create a world that’s inconsistent, confusing, or just plain dumb. Here are some works which, IMHO, have bad world building. Some of you may hate me for this one!
