I uploaded my DNA results to a medical site just out of curiosity and was shocked to find out I had the strongest form of hemochromatosis, a genetic condition that causes iron overload. My ferritin levels were dangerously high, and after seeing a specialist, I learned I had five times the dangerous level of iron. In this short, I share my journey from diagnosis to treatment.
