Welcome to the Book of Acts! Many consider this Book to pick up where the Gospel of Luke ends. Join Amy and she embarks upon the retelling of the journey from Jerusalem to Rome with the Good News. After the ascension of Jesus, the apostles were in obedience, fellowship and prayer, awaiting the "Promise of the Father". What could that be? What will the apostles do once they receive this promise? Will Peter still be hesitant in his proclamation of his love and devotion to Christ? We learn about who was to replace Judas, the apostle after his betrayal and then suicide. We learn about what occurred on Pentecost, just 10 days after Jesus's ascension. Why did Jesus tell the apostles that it was good for Him to leave? The Law was written upon stone in the days of Exodus, but where will the laws be written in the New Testament?
