In the video "IMPORTANT NEWS St Charles & Stl Counties" you hear about the new neighborhoods being approved to be built using part of the contaminated August A. Busch Conservation Area, which is land that was made into a conservation area so NO EXCAVATING OR CONSTRUCTION could be done on it.
The radiation levels from the waste dumped at this site were too high to allow the land to be lived on, but were low enough to be acceptable for recreational use (hunting, fishing, park).

Following the Busch name & taking a closer look at the Busch Conservation Area, I noticed there are 32 lakes & remembered the land underneath is karst (full of holes) & a sinkhole often signals that there is a cave underneath. If those lakes were once sinkholes & they were later sealed, it would mean there's possible caves under there.

I also point out one Anheuser Busch connection to World War 2 since World War 2 was when this land at Weldon Spring was first used by the military.

There are still 100 bunkers on the conservation land & an area designated for the Army Reserve.

There is a trail called Busch Greenway Trail that leads through the Research Center.

Also of note, as described in the "IMPORTANT NEWS" video, there's a restricted area next to the river (a hidden, once contaminated & never documented as cleaned up, quarry).
