Getting ready to "Get Your Greek On" at Greek Fest '42

The weekend to "get your Greek on" has arrived. The 42nd Annual Greek Festival at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church kicks off June 1st at 11am. There will be music, dancing, lots of Greek food including those delicious Greek desserts. Michele Hiczewski is in charge of the baked goods. Talk about a "sweet job". She says they are all stocked up with cookies, breads and baklava and hope to run out at the right time saying "that is our goal. to run out by Sunday at dinner time." One of the big attractions over the weekend is tours of the church. Father Christos enjoys offering those tours and says it gives visitors a chance to experience the faith and the history.
