It's seems that it's touch and go for wallabies under a certain age.
The mothers gestate a lot of joeys but they are lucky to survive the stage when they first leave the pouch.
Sometimes they stay with an auntie in the nursery when mum goes off for a few minutes but I didn't see the baby last time I saw Sistra either 💔
