What’s goin on, Headbangers! I’m Erick Benhardtson here, your host for SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball! Welcome back to the most wicked awesome Heavy Metal show on Rumble! Come on over and join us Veterans for the party up here on Freedom Hill, overlooking the beautiful Rappahannock river, broadcasting at 150,000 Watts of pure Heavy Metal power where the beer is always cold, the food is always hot, and the music is always loud. This show is filled with rock and metal from all generations.

Being a Minnesota native. We have a huge populace of Germans. Celebrating Oktoberfest is right up there with the annual Minnesota State Fair, State Hockey Tournament and Winter Festival. As a kid, it was just an all-around good time to party with my family and friends. Then when I became drinking age, I celebrated my last Oktoberfest before heading off to the army in 1990. Then I was sent over to Germany and let me tell you folks, every year we went to Oktoberfest. My Brothers and I went to Oktoberfest in many locations. Every other year we went to Munich. The Mecca of Oktoberfest. What a party, man. The traditions, the camaraderie, the food, the dancing, the music, and the best part, being there with my Brothers making memories no one can take from us and stories we can tell our grandkids. In today’s day and age though, even though those same traditions are alive, and people are doing their thing during Oktoberfest right now as I write this. I saw videos on YouTube with people who just…I just don’t get it. When it comes to Oktoberfest, music, film, entertainment…the woke left just infects it and makes it so unappealing. I mean come on, man. People are bringing their fuckin kids to these events and those adults who just don’t fly their freak flag like they’re the center of attention, they might as well be a walking advertisement for indoctrination to a lifestyle that sickens me. And they’re doing this around kids and that makes my fuckin’ blood boil. Don’t come down here trying to make a fuckin political statement and fuck up my good time with family and friends.

You must remember something people, German dudes…aren’t fuckin around when they say, “Bring diesen Scheiß nicht um mich herum, mein Kind, ich werde dich verdammt noch mal zerstören!” In English, “Don’t bring that shit around my kid, I’ll fuckin destroy you!” Germans may be socialists, but don’t forget their fuckin lineage. Hard men, hard workers, proud, love of country, love of family. Traditional Germans who are my friends that I’ve known for over 30 years don’t play that shit. GenX Germans, Baby Boomer Germans, and surviving Quiet Generation, WW2 kids, they don’t fuck around with that shit.

The bottom line, never, ever…fuck with a German during Oktoberfest who is all about the party. To interrupt that, you might as well write your own death warrant.

In closing, Oktoberfest runs from 21 September to 06 October 2024. It is the best time of year to be a beer drinker and a party goer. Being a soldier, or my brothers and sisters in arms in the other services, who make their way to Oktoberfest in Munchen, Prost to the Bundespost! Much love from across the big pond. One last thing, before we get on with the show, headbangers. I’d always wondered. “How come there was never an Oktoberfest Metalfest in Germany during the run time of Oktoberfest.” – Might have to think about making that happen.

My favorite part of putting this show, SGT Rock’s Headbangers Ball, together folks is this. With all the “Music at your fingertips today. Whatever happened to being excited about something? Music at your fingertips is one thing. But whatever happened to that anticipation of being excited to see, “What is SGT Rock going to play next week.” That’s the feeling I’m trying to bring y’all back to. Baby Boomer and GenX headbangers had this show on a cable station that has, since 1995, turned into an indoctrination channel for the poisoning of today’s kids. It makes me fuckin physically sick so I’m not going to mention those bastards who stopped playing music and started with a show called, “The Real World, San Francisco” and the disgusting reality TV shows and tomfuckery that has since then dumbed down those in the Millennial, GenZ, and GenA generations who you see today on social media. And that’s sad. Because before all this indoctrination, that channel was about music, man. Just the music. The interviews, our heavy metal show on Saturday nights, our Summer. And then some fuckin suit and politician had to step in and fuck us over. That’s why I made this show. To give you that feeling you had and can have of “What’s SGT Rock going to have on the show next week?”

SGT Rock’s Headbangers Ball is not just a show; it’s a rite of passage for those who find solace in the heavy metal’s cathartic embrace, a sonic call to the headbangers, the moshers, and the fist-raisers. Keep your horns held high and that volume knob cranked to 11! This is YOUR…Headbangers Ball!
