Gravitational waves, UY Scuti struggling to radiate light, and other things.

Why would anyone think that the Sun takes 4.6 seconds, to radiate it’s own light the distance of it’s own diameter. Can people not see the Sun in the sky? Do they not feel the unrelenting intense heat? Are they not instantly blinded when their gaze catches the Sun’s gaze?
This one does not take much working out.
The Sun’s light is absolute. It hasn’t ever been timed or measured, because it’s too fast.
There is no equation that says otherwise.
