Is Antarctica really a continent? Google Earth apparently differs

This video was recorded on the 7th of September, 2024. Google Earth predates Google Maps, and it is a virtual representation of the globe Earth that serves similar purposes to the latter. But when selecting a polygonal area on the Antarctic continent, it becomes twisted as if a forced perspective had to be implemented in order to make the Earth look like a ball or a sphere. What does this mean?

If the Google Earth corporate team finds out about this problem with their software in the future, or if this piece of evidence for a flat Earth (or some other model) becomes too popular for their liking, they might categorize it as a "glitch" which needs to be patched.
