Judgement
◦ God’s judgement
▪ God’s judgement is currently being poured on the world with the sores covered up as
monkeypox (9/15/2024) → Revelation 16:2
▪ 1 Peter 4:17 → Judgement starts in the house of God.
▪ Matthew 12:36, Romans 14:10-12 → We will be judged by our words by God.
▪ Acts 17:31, Ecclesiastes 12:14, Ezekiel 7:3 → God will judge the world and its people.
▪ John 12:48 → The one who rejects Jesus and doesn’t keep His words will be judged on
the last day by the same words.
▪ John 5:22 → All judgement is given to the Son, Jesus Christ.
▪ 2 Timothy 4:8 → God in His judgements will also reward us with crowns if keep the
faith.
◦ Passing Judgement
▪ James 2:13 → Mercy triumphs judgement. When it is according to Jesus’ will, it is
better to be merciful. We should show exceeding mercy before judgement.
▪ Matthew 7:1-5 → The judgement we do will be done again to us. It is dangerous to be a
hypocritical judge, and it is better to not judge if you are unrighteous.

Romans 2:1 → If we sin, we condemn ourselves if we judge others based on their
sins.
▪ John 7:24, 1 Samuel 16:7 → We are told to not judge by appearances but judge with
right judgement.
▪ Romans 14:13 → At times it is better to reserve judgement as it concerns fellowship to
help brothers and sisters in Christ not sin nor stumble.
▪ 2 Chronicles 19:6 → God is with us in the judgements we make for Him.
▪ 1 Corinthians 6:2 → The saints will judge the world.
