Tributes to boy, 15, stabbed to death with zombie knife & left dying on street as pals share agony

Tributes have flooded in for a 15-year-old boy stabbed to death with a zombie-style knife, with two men arrested.

Schoolboy Daejaun Campbell was ambushed and knifed in the thigh on Sunday evening, before being left lying in a pool of blood in the street.

The Met Police has launched a murder investigation after the boy was found with a stab injury in Eglinton Road in Woolwich, southeast London.

Two men - aged 52 and 18 - have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody, the forced confirmed this afternoon.

Daejaun died shortly after officers arrived at the scene around 6.35pm and his family continue to be supported by specialist officers.

Today, a note from the lad’s mother was seen at a shrine of blue balloons and flowers created at the spot where he was set upon.
