Many think church shouldn’t be involved in politics simply because they don’t understand the Biblical guidelines for the role of Government. What is the Government’s role and is there a time when Christians should stand against the powers of our time? Maybe the real question is does morality come from legality or does legality come from morality? Maybe, sometimes, obedience to God may look like disobedience to Government. The Church must speak to political issues because the Church is God’s voice to a dark world. If we want to see a nation great, the Church must speak to the world of politics.
