Trump calls Zelensky ‘greatest salesman in history’

Donald Trump has been giving Ukraine’s President Zelensky some extremely backhanded compliments, praising his ability to extract seemingly endless money from Washington. Speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania on Monday, Trump called Zelensky ‘the greatest salesman in history,’ explaining that ‘every time he comes into the country, he walks away with 60 billion dollars.’ In contrast, Trump said he would work to restore peace in Ukraine, promising that this would be his very first job if reelected.
