Microscopic images of strange fog particles; unknown pathogen being found in sick wild birds

This was taken at 600x magnification with a compound microscope. These geometric shapes appeared in the sample after it was allowed to sit for approx 3 days. This particular sample came from the feathers of a sick raven.
