In a recent interview with CNN, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R-NC) addressed the recent allegations against him, which he firmly denies. Despite some of his top campaign staff leaving, Robinson remains confident in his path to victory. He revealed that his campaign is receiving numerous offers of support and that he’s in the process of rebuilding a strong team.

Robinson also expressed frustration with CNN’s focus on the allegations, stating that they have overshadowed more critical issues such as the opioid crisis and border security. He emphasized that he’s staying focused on the needs of North Carolinians and will not let media distractions derail his campaign.

Additionally, Robinson made it clear that he plans to take legal action against CNN, accusing the network of spreading "salacious lies" and vowing to go after them "full throttle." With five weeks left in the race, he assured supporters that his mission remains unchanged: to win and put the people of North Carolina first.
