Jesus teaches His disciples that we must choose to love our enemies, bless those that curse us, and pray for those who despise us. How can we possibly do this? Through faith in God and in obedience to the Word. In this act of our will, we become the most like our Lord and Master, who willingly sacrificed Himself for all of us while we were enemies, thus; we were reconciled to God. Amen.
