Suspected DUI Driver Destruction

On 9/22/24 at approximately 1:38 AM, San Miguel Fire and California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a vehicle collision on the westbound 54 freeway at the 125 south exit ramp in Spring Valley. Upon arrival, they encountered a white Toyota Tacoma that had rolled after hitting freeway signage and the attenuator. Debris was spread over all traffic lanes. The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. DUI is suspected. CHP investigating.
