had this bike for 5 years now and finally hit 40k it has had it's problems but nothing i can't fix (so far)

problems encountered so far
spark plug 35k resistance 4.75k ohms
headlight literally broke off, old plastic
directional light broke off, JB weld back on
banjo seal front brake MC leaked and damaged wheel fender
front brake master cylinder replaced with moped or pit bike one
clutch lever switch, bypassed it (jumped)
ignition coil, symptom engine flames out
intake manifold, replaced with solid aluminum intake
the dipstick, broke my fault
dipstick o-ring, ordering new one will make video of that soon
exhaust couple (V band clamp), clevis pin broke and lost all pieces of clamp while riding
muffler guard bolts, guard never fit right must grind soon and extract broken bolt piece in hold
luggage rack, held up for a year but finally found another crack
motor mounts on sub frame, keeps breaking will mod and explain in a separate video soon
rear master cylinder brake, used a pit bike MC seems to work OK
rear brake lever pivot pin, part on order will make vid explaining the modification and reason why
gas cap, internal tumbler pins came apart inside of gas cap had to drill out tumbler assembly without drilling through gas cap as fumes in tank is in danger of explosion. buy and keep extra gas cap for magician (suggested)
mirrors had to JB weld ball and socket to keep mirror from flopping around, seems to work (adjust mirror before applying epoxy)
clutch springs, old ones were getting really weak and shifting was getting difficult, news ones really do seem to shift better and i can even find neutral easier

Disclaimer: I am not a motorcycle mechanic anything I show is simply that me showing what I did to keep my motorcycle running. I am in no way saying this is the right way or even the only way to repair a motorcycle. If in doubt i suggest you take your motorcycle to a certified motorcycle mechanic and or to a certified motorcycle repair shop. the 'mods' mentioned in this video is just me showing what 'i chose' to do to keep my motorcycle on the road and if anyone wishes to do so can do the same but are fully responsible for their own decisions. if in doubt seek expert help as i am not an expert
