1 Thessalonians 3:11-13, when the Church disappears, if it had a significant impact on the surrounding communities, then people would miss it. If the Church allows God to direct it, then it will have an impact on the surrounding communities.

Proverbs 29:18, inspired guidance and vision. Without vision or direction, the people will perish. The translation from Hebrew to English of this word "perish" as it appeared here means: 'let loose, run wild, or cast off restraint'. Without God's governance, the people will devolve into meaningless chaos and depravity.

Philippians 1:21, foresight (ex: looking ahead through a scope) and insight (ex: looking deeper into something through a microscope; understanding which leads to motivation and action). Looking towards the future with God (foresight), dying in the flesh, and living in the spirit (insight). This is looking beyond what people can normally see.

Matthew 6:22, Ephesians 1:18, the eye is the window- may it be opened to God to receive His vision. Will the people receive God's love, understand what it is, and be able to share it with others? The eye is the window where the light enters (ex: opening on the telescope), but the light is collected by the heart (ex: lenses and mirrors).

Proverbs 4:23, keeping the heart with diligence. Applied to today's message: maintaining the lens, so that it can stay clearly focused on God's vision. God's vision is not a worldly thing, and the things of the Spirit can only be discerned spiritually.

2 Corinthians 5:7, Hebrews 10:38, living by faith

Hebrews, 10:38, 11:6, in order to move forward, a person needs to be able to see ahead. Faith in God is not blind.

Mark 11:22, keep the faith and carry on. Jesus constantly encouraged His followers to trust and remain calm in Him, even in the midst of various storms.

Psalm 37:4, 'delight yourself in the Lord', and He will guide you

Ephesians 3:20, 'the power within us' is the Holy Spirit, and God is the one who can do more than what people can ask or think
