Plant of the Week - Tumbleweed - was offered between September 21, 2024 through September 28, 2024.

Tumbleweed is a member of the Appease-Mint family.
Tumbleweed costs 50 Sun. (-25 Sun at level 5.)
Tumbleweed does 15 damage. (+10 damage per level.)
Tumbleweed can be planted on any tile, no matter what is occupying the tile.
Tumbleweed has a 60% chance to knock back the zombie it hits. (+5% at levels 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. An additional 5% at level 4.)

Commentary:
The ability to knock back multiple zombies as the tumbleweed tumbles down the lawn is something to consider. That would make a good stalling plant, even if it is inconsistent and a single-use plant.

Bottom Line:
That inconsistency is the problem. Tumbleweed only knocks back a few zombies, no matter how many zombies are on lawn. For the cost of four (4) Tumbleweeds, one can place a Laser Bean which will damage all the zombies on the lawn. If one is looking for a stalling plant, there are more reliable options available.

Perks = Hypno-shroom appear on lawn / Knockback / Boss Buster (Damage to Zomboss.)

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
