THE ULTIMATE ROYAL RETURN

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!! As I was reading not just Isaiah 45, but also the things that Sheridan Voysey, this morning's devotional writer was sharing in regards to his memories of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, I too had several things going through my mind when it came to her memorial service, and so much more. I learned that they had had this whole thing planned out well in advance, and it was everything that she had wanted, and I think so much more. But as I look on it, I think of a moment in which we will see the return of the real ruler of this universe. Where we will look into heaven and see the coming of the Son of Man on the clouds of heaven, as Matthew states in this verse above, and as Philippians 2:10-11 states so very well, every knee will be bowing before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, with no exceptions.

That's why this question Sheridan posed from this morning's devotional comment was rather intriguing to me and I couldn't help but want to share it with all of you tonight. Please read this question carefully, and I pray that God causes you to think deeply about it.

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this I'm going to question from this morning’s devotions, and I pray that it will encourage your heart, but also want to motivate you to look forward to the day in which Jesus will rule and reign as king, and what that moment will look like.

What would it look like to follow Jesus as king today?

My question to you tonight is this. When Jesus comes back to rule and reign as king, what side will you be on? Will you be on the side of the redeemed, or the condemned? I pray that you will be on the side of the redeemed, because it will be a moment in which you will have joy and happiness like nothing else. A day in which you will more than acknowledge Jesus as king, you will want to worship Him forever. Are you ready for the coming king?
