Old Earth vs. New Earth: Isaiah 65 Compare and Contrast

Denominations that emphasize a millennium on earth often reference Isaiah 65 as evidence. They interpret Isaiah 65 as a comparison between life on earth before the millennium, and life and earth during the millennium.
What they are missing is the additional revelation that tells that the creation of a new heaven and new earth is at the end of the millennium. An in-depth study of Isaiah 65 reveals that Isaiah is comparing life on this sin-filled earth before the Second Coming to life on the earth made new after the end of the millennium (start of eternity). During the millennium itself, the Bible reveals that the earth is barren with no human life (Revelation 19:17-21), and after the second death of the wicked at the end of the millennium, at that time we will reign with God on a re-created and restored earth forever with the heavenly Jerusalem being on planet earth for eternity.
