The Russian-Chinese naval exercise "Baby" has started in the Pacific Fleet/Interaction - 2024"
A joint detachment of warships of the Pacific Fleet and the Chinese Navy sailed from Vladivostok to conduct a joint Russian-Chinese naval exercise "Beibu/Interaction - 2024".

Before leaving the base of the detachment of warships of the two countries, a solemn formation of crews took place, at which the elders from each side announced the beginning of a bilateral exercise.

During the week, in the waters of the Sea of Japan, a joint detachment of ships will work out issues of repelling an attack by a simulated enemy from the air, water and underwater environment, joint maneuvering and defense when parked on an unprotected raid. In the course of working out the tasks of the exercise, the crews of the ships will perform artillery firing and a number of combat exercises using anti-aircraft and anti-submarine weapons.

The joint detachment from the Russian side includes the large anti-submarine ships Admiral Panteleev and Admiral Tributs, the small anti-submarine ships MPK-82 and MPK-107, as well as the small missile ship Smerch of the Pacific Fleet. From the Naval Forces of the People's Liberation Army of China, the destroyers "Xining" and "Wuxi", the frigate "Lin Yi", as well as the integrated supply ship "Taihu" participate in the exercise.

The Chinese ships arrived in Vladivostok with a business call on September 18. During their stay at the main base of the Pacific Fleet, Chinese sailors took part in sports and cultural events.
