Here's a simple recipe for a delicious yogurt cake:

Ingredients
1 cup (240g) plain yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil or melted butter
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
1 lemon (zested, optional for added flavor)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

Prepare the Batter:

In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, oil (or melted butter), and eggs until smooth.
In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
If using, fold in the vanilla extract and lemon zest.
Bake the Cake:

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
