In today's reflection, we explore the powerful message of Romans 12:21:
"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

This verse serves as a reminder that we have the power to resist the darkness in the world by choosing to do good. Evil, in all its forms, can be overwhelming, but God calls us to rise above it with acts of love and kindness. Instead of being consumed by negativity, we are urged to counter evil with goodness. By doing so, we reflect the heart of Christ and become agents of His grace and light.

Being able to overcome evil with good requires a deep commitment to our faith. It challenges us to forgive when we’ve been wronged, to love when faced with hate, and to show compassion in the face of hostility. In every act of goodness, we wage a spiritual battle against the forces of evil, and we do so by reflecting the love and mercy that God has shown us.

Let us strive each day to choose goodness, knowing that in doing so, we play a part in overcoming the darkness in the world. With every kind word and loving action, we embody the love of Christ and help spread His light.
