This was my first road trip as a nursing mum!

We had the pleasure of an eight-hour car trip, from Gold Coast, Queensland to Tamworth, New South Wales, as a family. Although Spencer is now one and eats solids (when he is in a good mood), he still nurses about four times per day, so I knew he would need to breastfeed during our road trip. It did add some extra time to our trip, but he was happier for having had his usual feeds.

I sincerely hope that by sharing my breastfeeding journey I can help other women feel more confident about nursing in public, since feeding your baby is such a normal and vital thing to do and breastfeeding in public should be viewed as no different to bottle feeding your baby.
