Silence of Leaders: Celebrating Violence in Gaza and Its Consequences

Should we interpret the silence from our leaders and industry colleagues in this way? A U.S. wealth management executive recently posted a message that celebrated the suffering and devastation in Gaza. He has since apologized and deleted his X account. I had the opportunity to view his posts before he removed his account, and you can probably guess why he chose to erase it entirely. Source: https://lnkd.in/gUQgYHKV One notable aspect of this incident is that many individuals in positions of power seem to be celebrating this tragedy, which is why it has persisted for so long, even in the face of daily war crimes funded by our tax dollars. Are we now at Day 349 of U.S.-backed Israeli actions in Gaza? Violence does not enhance safety for anyone. This conflict will not restore the hostages or bring security, stability, or peace to the region. We must put an end to the occupation. Free Palestine. Collective liberation. Human rights for all.
