This type of learning is by contrasting and comparing one life style to another.

1 [a]Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example],
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of [b]scoffers (ridiculers)

[[Blessed, means plural blessings to those who do not take advice from the immoral, nor walks in the way of a fool, or takes up with scorners who snub their nose at every spiritual principle.]]

[[ In the beginning, what was thought to be a funny written answer, among friends.
Then onto every platform still trying to do the same but now among scoffers and haters of mankind.]]

[[Our enemies are on the internet.
They go about seeking who they may devour. Then the bazaar thing is: if you hang around with scoffers long enough, chances are you end up being a person who has scorn and sarcasm for every idea.

[[I used to listen to a radio personality, who was very sarcastic, disparaging of many.
I found I could not listen to this personality, I imbibed his personality, I emulated him, his sarcasm. I began to be very sarcastic with everyone I met; not a good thing for me.]]

[[For naysayers their first inclination is to say. “That’s not possible. Never happen. Can’t happen that way.” It is their only wisdom—NO!
The more capital letters to impress of their sincerity. The more name calling, the more evil spells are heaped upon you, for not accepting their flimsy hypothesis. These are men sowing weed seeds of discord, anger hate and division. They are of dubious origin; at best.]]

[[Stay away from their evil counsel, do not mimic their odium, don’t sit in the places where everything and everyone is held in low esteem. These have nothing to offer you; the Christ-man, or the Christ-woman.]]

But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.

[[The Christian seeks godly counsel. They walk dutifully looking for paths of peace and reconciliation.
Why; so they be planted in a place of nurturing, and to be nutritious, giving out of their spiritual bounty. There must be more than three in among this hoary-headed group gathered.]]

And he will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season;
Its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers [and comes to maturity].

[[Have you ever met a person who seemed to be at rest. Never hurried, always on time, who seems to have time to listen.
Wife and I are very much different from one another but we have one thing in common.
Every few days-weeks there seems to be a person who comes into our lives who needs to unburden their soul about some misdeeds done. Then sometimes we never see them again.]]

[[They are looking for forgiveness.
I forgive them.
Then I point them to the Saviour who can wipe the slate clean. Who can forgive them of their spiritual debts as they forgive others of their karmic debts owed them.]]

[[They are looking for absolution. I point them to the Wisest Judge in all of these Galaxies.
Who will absolve them of their cosmic debts.
The penalty has been paid. Through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ]]

[[Many come seeking advice about spiritual matters, usually in regards to a relationship. They are looking for a refreshing answer.]]

[[An answer which refreshes them like a brisk drink of glacier water. I never profess to know all of the answers, but I point them to seek the Saviour who knows the entire answer.
Planted by the water, this answer has never failed to arrive. Inwardly, most people already know the answer.]]

The wicked [those who live in disobedience to God’s law] are not so,
But they are like the chaff [worthless and without substance] which the wind blows away.

[[There is a sifting, a shifting, a winnowing, a separation of the Wheat and of the Tares is underway. The time of the harvest is upon us.
