The Liberty Podcast : September 19 2024

Welcome back, Luminaries of Liberty. The week began when an alert Secret Service agent averted a would-be assassin from taking a rifle shot at Donald Trump. It concludes with an apparent attempt by CNN to assassinate the character of North Carolina Lt. Governor Mark Robinson, less than two months from an election in which he is running for governor against well-funded Marxist Josh Stein.

Robinson is being urged to suspend his campaign, according to The Carolina Journal’s sources, after CNN dug up a series of inflammatory comments on a pornography website’s message board more than a decade ago in which Robinson referred to himself as a “black NAZI!”, expressed support for reinstating slavery, and said he enjoyed watching transgender pornography, while also referring to himself as a “perv” (pervert).

Robinson posted a preemptive video message refuting the CNN report ahead of its release. In the video, Robinson warns of “things you will see in that story, those are not the words of Mark Robinson.”

A survey by RMG Research (Scott Rasmussen, formerly of Rasmussen Reports) reveals that Democrats’ contempt for Trump knows no bounds and is deep rooted enough that fully 24 percent of Democrat voters “believe that America would have been better off if former President Trump had been killed” amid a September 15 attempted assassination. And there are 24 percent who aren’t sure. Meanwhile, the same survey finds that 52 percent of Republicans believe that the Democrat Party or Kamala Harris campaign were behind the apparent scheme to shoot Trump during a round of golf in West Palm Beach, Fla.

- How the FBI has assigned a Miami field chief who is on record disparaging Trump to lead the “investigation” of the West Palm incident
- Nate Silver’s latest polling analysis on Trump vs. Harris
- A breathtaking shift in the disparity between Democrat and Republican voter registration in the key swing state of Pennsylvania since 2020
- And, an efficient process by which anyone can reach out to citizens in their community with a simple postcard to drive voter registration and participation with early voting set to begin on October 17, 2024
