Franklin gets recruited by Lester Crest to assassinate Brett Lowrey, CEO of Bilkinton Research, who is staying at the Von Crastenburg Hotel. Since the job is successful, Lester buys a house in Vinewood Hills and puts it in Franklin's name for tax purposes and now allows Franklin to live at the mansion.
Trevor, Michael, and Franklin meet at the oil barracks in El Burro Heights and are joined by Haines, Sanchez and Dave of the FIB for another task. The IAA has secured some funds that the FIB need to use in their fight against crime so they can bribe corrupt officials. The IAA is getting the funds from selling drugs and the FIB believe they'll start a war on the streets. Michael comes up with a plan called "Blitz Play". Trevor goes out at secures a tow truck, then buys boiler suits and masks for disguises. Michael finds a car and drops it at a safe location and then steals a garbage truck (takes a long time to secure it and then disappear from the cops). Now the heist can commence. Michael blocks the ally the armored truck will go down and Franklin uses the tow truck to ram the armored truck which allows them to kill the guards and blow open the truck to steal the funds. The LSPD are alerted and a large shootout occurs before the trio have a chance to escape. Franklin takes the garbage truck to the safe location, blows it up, and then gets in the getaway car. Michael goes out to Devin Weston's house to drop off the bonds which leads to Devin offering more jobs to the crew.
