Busy Signal Live In Concert - Summer Jam Festival 2024

Busy Signal combines roots reggae with dub experiments and current DJ styles. Since his debut single "Step Out", he has regularly found himself successfully in the reggae and billboard charts.

Busy Signal's real name is Glendale Goshia Gordon. His friends later gave him the stage name Busy Signal - because he was constantly occupied. Born in 1982 in St. Ann, Jamaica, Gordon grew up in the capital Kingston. Under the name Busy Signal, he became known in one fell swoop when his single "Step Out" was released in 2005. In 2006, he released his debut album of the same name.

In 2012, Busy Signal released an album called "Reggae Music Again", on which he combined 70s roots reggae, dub and rock with current deejay styles. In the same year, Gordon was extradited to the United States in a 2002 criminal case, where he subsequently served a six-month prison sentence. He has been back in Jamaica since 2013 and regularly successfully releases singles. His 2019 album – "Parts Of The Puzzle" – reached number 2 on the US Reggae Billboard Charts.
