Strip it right back - My, me and Mine - Day 20
Day 20 - Strip it right back - My, me and Mine
Self observation at a deeper level now
The words My/mine is the ego - what happens when it is not “mine” any more?
The attachment to my is an extension of holding on
If we bring our attention to our feelings inside our body, where does “my/mine” exist? It is always outside of ourself, the external.
Being awareness to what we attach My and mine too
to an identity,
a label,
an opinion
A belief
A status
An illness
A label
Judgement
Reactions
People instantly take ownership of words all from the mind and then manifest more of the image given to these words
When we bring awareness to our attachments, it becomes clear when others speak these words
“My anxiety gives me the worst panic attacks”
The best reply and an instant soul slap is
It is not yours, stop calling it my
And watch their reaction
People hold onto these attachments so when they are made aware, changes can be instant
When we can strip back our attachments, we learn more about ourself
