Combat work of D-30 howitzer crews of the Sever troop group in the border area of the Kursk region

Crews of D-30 howitzers of the artillery unit of the "North" group of troops, while carrying out fire missions in the border area of the Kursk region, destroy concentrations of manpower, armored vehicles, artillery and mortar crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In the border area of the Kursk region, artillery crews of the Sever group, while carrying out fire missions, destroy infantry, armored vehicles, artillery and mortar crews of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as fortified enemy positions every day. The D-30 howitzer crews of the artillery unit of the North group of forces set up closed firing positions to destroy mobile armored groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The artillerymen work in close cooperation with unmanned aerial vehicle crews. Reconnaissance drones detect enemy shelters, equipment, or the location of enemy personnel. And after transmitting the coordinates, the artillerymen begin to destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants. Shooting is carried out at a range of up to 15 kilometers using high-explosive fragmentation ammunition. The coordinates of detected targets are sent directly to the command of the artillery batteries.

The crews are well-coordinated and hit targets in a few shots, after which they quickly roll up and camouflage the guns, preventing the enemy from discovering the firing positions. The fighters prove their importance by their actions. The lull between shots is minimal. The high cohesion of the artillerymen allows them to carry out each other's tasks in emergency situations.

There are no problems with shells in the units. The timely delivery of ammunition in sufficient quantities is ensured by the logistics units of the group. To help the fighters are drones, which reconnoiter and identify new targets every day, and in the event of a decision to strike, adjust artillery fire.
