Are childhood vaccines safe? Seems unlikely.

The Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) filed a lawsuit against the CDC, alleging the agency failed to provide evidence of safety studies for vaccines given to infants in their first six months of life. ICAN sought proof that the CDC had conducted long-term safety testing on these vaccines, as is often claimed by public health officials. In response, the CDC was unable to provide any specific post-licensure studies showing safety evaluations on the recommended vaccine schedule for infants. This was seen as a significant gap in vaccine safety oversight by the plaintiffs. Adding to this, Dr. Stanley Plotkin, a prominent vaccine expert, testified under oath that post-licensure safety studies, which evaluate vaccine effects after approval, had not been conducted for several vaccines. His testimony reinforced concerns about the thoroughness of safety evaluations for vaccines administered to young children.
