"Daud’s Lawful Reign and the Decline of Lawfulness in Modern Times"

In 2 Samuel 8, Daud (David) triumphed over Moab, Ammon, the Philistines, and the Arameans of Damascus, fulfilling Yahuah’s plan. This echoes Isaiah’s prophecy about Damascus (Isaiah 17:1) and points to future events in Revelation. Daud’s victories weren’t just about battle—they were rooted in his lawful nature, keeping the Sabbath, honoring Yahuah, and following His commandments. As Yahusha said in John 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commands.”

This example extends into modern times. The USA, once a lawful nation where the 10 Commandments were posted in courthouses and trust was the norm, is now adrift in a sea of lawlessness. People once left keys in their cars, kept houses unlocked, and a man’s word sealed every deal. Sadly, the country, like many former Christian nations, is losing its way. History shows that unless people return to Yahuah, it will not end well.

However, as an individual who remains lawful, you can rest assured that Yahuah will protect you. It’s just disheartening to witness so many people losing their path. Repentance and returning to His commands are the way forward, both personally and for nations.
