Song of Solomon has 32 references to "beloved", who is referring to King Solomon, the male in this romantic poetry. So Jesus is asking His Bride to declare to Him, "Be my beloved!" Shift from student/teacher, slave/master, employee/employer, or even platonic marriage relationship to a passionate beloved relationship that burns HOT!

REV 3:15-16 - penalty of being lukewarm is rejection from His presence and his MOUTH.

Hosea 2 - spiritual prostitution and adultery resulted in God stripping Israel of all her blessings and practical provision, exposing her former lovers will reject her when they discover her poverty.
