On the evening of May 28, 1977, 169 lives were lost, hundreds were injured and our community was forever changed by the most tragic fire in Kentucky's history, the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire. State officials ruled the fire accidental with faulty aluminum wiring as the culprit, but quickly evidence of arson and corruption suggested otherwise. Over the last 46 years, questions and controversy have led many people seeking answers, including the club's former staffers. Author and historian Robert Webster and former Beverly Hills Club busboy, David Brock share their theories about the fire in "The Beverly Hill Supper Club: The Untold Story Behind Kentucky's Worst Tragedy." Brock shares the many suspicious activities he witnessed on that catastrophic night and how they led to his undying search for the truth.
