Gravity. A curvature in space-time?

If it were a curvature in space time, the Moon would not only be creeping towards Earth instead of away, it wouldn’t have a reason to be tidally locked. The constant pull from Earth, is what eventually made the Moon lock itself onto Earth with the same face. Rolling along in the curvature of space-time (that’s if it even exists), wouldn’t do anything.
