Hot Rod Drag Week began in 2005, created by Hot Rod Magazine as the ultimate test of both a car's performance and durability. The event combines drag racing with a grueling endurance challenge, where participants must drive their high-performance, street-legal drag cars across multiple race tracks over five consecutive days. Covering hundreds of miles on public roads between the tracks, racers are prohibited from using support vehicles, requiring them to carry all their tools and gear in the same cars they race. The unique format has attracted a passionate following, with classes ranging from full-on race cars to daily-driven street vehicles. Hot Rod Drag Week quickly became a prestigious event, where only the toughest vehicles and drivers survive to earn the coveted title of “Fastest Street Car in America.” The event continues to grow, drawing top competitors from around the world.
