California Governor and walking demon Gavin Newsom has signed three bills outlawing AI political ads, "related to elections 120 days before Election Day and 60 days thereafter.”

The laws allow courts to force AI media disclosures, stop distribution of “deepfake election materials” and impose civil penalties.
