RIP Jeff Gallagher

So very sorry to hear the news of Jeff Gallagher's passing tonight. He was one of the soundest people I had the great fortune of getting to know over the past few years. Fun, sincere and determined - he was a force. A man who had the charisma and common touch to connect with the heart of Ireland and ignite real change. Jeff was a gent, cheeful and witty but serious when required. He knew real children were stabbed in Parnell Square in Dublin on November 23, 2023 and used his voice to refocus on the victims and highlight the injustice of a system that puts innocents in harm's way. He truly cared. Jeff Gallagher loved his country and was willing to put himself out there to fight for future generations with all the risks and criticisms that entailed. He is a massive loss. For his family, there are no words except to offer our deepest sympathies. Because above all else, Jeff was a family man. He lived for his wife and children. They were his joy. May we never forget the great service Jeff Gallagher gave us in standing up when the hour called. We have lost a great man. RIP Jeff Gallagher.
