BREAKING: Police found "explosives" in a car near Donald Trump's rally site on Long Island where he is speaking this evening.

According to sources within the Nassau County Police Department, who allegedly spoke with journalist James Lalino of One America News Network, the rally’s security perimeter was breached, and a blue barrel was removed from the site.

Additionally, a K9 unit reportedly detected an explosive device in one of the vehicles during their sweep. The driver of the vehicle is said to have fled into the nearby woods.

Witnesses stated that they did not see whether the individual was carrying anything as he ran. Large numbers of vehicles were seen parking along Hempstead Turnpike, with some even parking on the grass or at nearby Eisenhower Park, according to a social media post by Lalino.
Thousands of supporters are expected to attend the rally at Nassau Coliseum, which is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET.
