Israel's Unit 8200 of Military Intelligence has allegedly conducted a cyberattack that caused the remote detonation of pager devices in Lebanon.

Some reports also indicate that the pagers used in Beirut were newer models, recently put into operation. Allegedly, these are "Motorola" pagers.
