Iā€™m such a creature of habit. šŸ˜…

Sometimes, it takes me years to try something new. (Not always, but sometimes.)

But Iā€™ll tell you, once I have a reason to break my habits and try something new, Iā€™m all in.

One new thing I tackled this summer, in the kitchen, is the air fryer.

Now we donā€™t have an actual air fryer. What we have is an accessory lid that turns our Instant Pot into an air fryer.

My favorite thing to make in it is Air Fryer French Fries. They are SO good. šŸ˜‹

What might surprise you is that I bought the air fryer accessory several years ago, maybe even close to 5 or 6?

Yetā€¦ I only just started using it this spring/summer.

And I really only use it for potatoes and maybe a couple other roasted veggies.

And do you know why I finally started using it?

Because our students were asking for info on how to use it.

Thereā€™s nothing like someone elseā€™s needs to get me motivated! (I am motivated by my own needs, too!)

Anyway, I thought I would tell you this today in hope that it encourages youā€¦ if you are known to be a stick in the mud like me. šŸ˜‰

We who are creatures of habit CAN change, CAN learn new things, CAN adapt.

Yes, we can! šŸ™Œ
