Pelosi signs articles of impeachment, Jan 15, 2020 (Trump's first impeachment)

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi signed the two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump--abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The House impeached Trump in December on the basis of those two articles. The House seven impeachment managers, named by Pelosi on Wednesday, will then be delivered to the Senate. The move allows the Senate to start a trial weighing whether Trump committed the impeachable offenses and whether he should be removed from office.
