Join me in my fifth video as I delve into the importance of psychology and patience in forex trading, following a week-long hiatus from the market. After dedicating time to refine my mindset and observe market movements, I identified a promising trade setup in gold on May 6th, 2024.

Despite waiting for the opportune moment to enter the trade from my real account, the market moved swiftly, leaving me unable to execute my plan. After an hour of deliberation, I opted for a paper trade to avoid FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and lacking confidence in my decision-making.

Initially, the paper trade showed promise, edging into profit territory. However, the absence of a concrete target led to hesitation, and ultimately, the trade reversed, hitting the stop-loss. As I reflect on this experience in the video, I highlight the importance of discipline and sticking to a predefined trading strategy.

Moreover, I share insights into a missed opportunity later in the day. Around 5:30 p.m., I predicted that there was a chance of an upward movement around 6 p.m. However, due to prior commitments and the lack of internet access on my phone, I refrained from taking the trade. Upon returning home and reviewing the charts, I observed that the market indeed rallied around 6 p.m., validating my analysis. Join me as I dissect the psychology behind trading decisions and the lessons learned from this eventful day in the forex market.
