How do you feel what was successful there? It was very difficult. I want to have a realistic project. She told me, think the sales manager was the problem. Exactly. She's blaming someone else for what she did and she just will not take responsibility. She should have delegated to that person.

Let's look at what happened. You're coming in, very nice starting, very good positive feedback. I mean, that is really going to warm her up and prepare her for what comes next. What you could have done was elicit from her first conclusive summary first. Before you did that, that would be important to say, like to get the positives and negatives, please tell me how you think it went. And then come in with that positive and negative, that would be even better. But you were really doing what you needed to do in this session. That's those open questions together with assertiveness. You're really off to a really good start.
