UK ASSISTED DYING: WHY NUFFIELD'S RECOMMENDATIONS SHOULD BE IGNORED

🔴🔵FAITH AND POLICY: The UK Nuffield Council on Bioethics has published its interim report, following the commissioning of an English 'Citizens' Jury' to review evidence, cast votes, and provide policy recommendations. In the final tally, twenty members supported the legalization of euthanasia and/or assisted suicide, seven opposed it, and one remained undecided. At first glance, this seems to suggest clear support from the UK public for legalizing 'assisted dying'.
