On Monday, suspicious packages containing white powder were sent to election officials in at least six states: Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Tennessee, Wyoming, and Oklahoma.

Fortunately, authorities reported no hazardous materials in the packages, with some substances, like the one in Oklahoma, identified as flour.

The FBI and U.S. Postal Service are investigating. The alerts prompted evacuations in Iowa and Kansas, disrupting early voting as crucial elections approach, the Associated Press has reported.
